The weather is warmer now and that means summer is upon us and so are the family vacations.  Now is the time to have your vehicle checked and in top performance for those long trips.  We have chosen several areas of importance for you to consider and help you prepare your vehicle for the season.

Air Conditioning

No one likes to be without A/C in the summer.  A properly charged and operating A/C system is essential in removing the heat and keeping your cabin cool on those hot days.

Belts & Hoses

Belts need to be in good condition and properly tightened to prevent breakage.  Coolant hoses need to be in good condition too so they don't break and cause your engine to overheat from loss of engine coolant.

Tires

Properly inflated tires with good tread will prevent blowouts when the tires start to heat up from the hot roads.

Preventive Maintenance

Don't put off your regular preventive maintenance programs such as tune ups and oil changes.  The last thing anyone wants is to be stranded on the side of the road because they put off a tune up.  Make sure your spark plugs and filters are changed on time.

Wipers & Headlights

A good clean set of wiper blades will aid in visibility and prevent streaking when the those pop up storms come around. 

Also, don’t forget that properly aimed headlights will help keep you feeling safe when the weather turns bad at night.
